Ponce, Hector J. 1960-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Hector J. Ponce 65, of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in a St. Joseph hospital. He was born Jan. 29, 1960, in Mexico, son of Amelia and Manuel Ponce de Leon. He worked at Triumph foods for over 20 years.

He is survived by daughter, Cheyenne Ponce; granddaughters, Brielle and Alaya; as well as numerous friends and other family.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Fr. Benjamin Fenlon Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. with a Rosary to be prayed on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
