Cotillion for Achievement honors students hard work and accomplishments

Elizabeth Newell from East Buchanan High School was named the female recipient for the Award for Distinction.

Gage Phroper from Benton High School was named the male recipient for the Award for Distinction.

The Cotillion for Achievement named their Award of Distinction winners at Saturday's Awards and Recognition ceremony.

Each year, eight young men and women from Andrew and Buchanan county high schools are selected to participate in the leadership, professional development and scholarship program.

The event named Gage Phroper from Benton High School as the male winner and Elizabeth Newell from East Buchanan High School as the female winner. The two were presented with the Award for Distinction for their hard work.
