King City car crash results in one fatality

A head-on car collision on Wednesday morning outside of King City, Missouri resulted in one fatality and one serious injury.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Colorado headed north on U.S. 169 crossed the center line and struck a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado head-on.

The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado, an 18-year-old man of King City, was pronounced dead at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. He was reported to have not been wearing a seatbelt.

The driver of the Chevrolet Silverado, a 20-year-old man of King City, received serious injuries. It is unknown whether or not he was wearing a seatbelt.
