The intersection at S 22nd Street and Garfield Ave. near the Road Star gas station is set to close on Monday for construction.

The closure is because a water valve is being replaced in the area.

The project is set to take two days, depending on the weather.

The detour routes will be east on Pear Street to the Belt Highway, south on the Belt Highway to I-29, south on I-29 to I-229 North and North on I-229 to South 22nd Street.
