Chamber of Commerce announces guest speaker for Economic Development Summit

Thomas Hoenig, the former President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will address the St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce at its 2024 Economic Development Summit on Oct. 2. 

Hoenig is set to present “Knocking on the Central Bank’s Door: How monetary printing to fund government deficits creates financial uncertainty and undermines the banking industry.”

The Summit will be held in the Fulkerson Center at Missouri Western State University, 4525 Downs Drive, from 7:30 to 9 a.m.

Reservations are required to attend the event. The cost is $40 for Chamber members and $60 for non-members.
