One hospitalized after Saturday night shooting

One man was injured in a shooting late last night at Belt Bowl Entertainment. 

The St. Joseph Police Department said the violence occurred around 11 p.m., leaving one victim injured with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was taken to Mosaic Life Care by a private vehicle. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. 

The suspected shooter fled the scene before the SJPD arrived. Capt. Jeff Wilson confirmed the police do not know the identity of the shooter. Wilson also stated the victim was “not cooperating” in helping identify the suspect.
