A special guest visited the Wyeth-Tootle Mansion on Saturday to bring Christmas cheer to the community.
Santa Claus took free pictures with local children, allowing them to express their wishes this holiday season. Pets were also invited to see Santa.
Santa expressed his excitement to see the children.
“Always just glad to help,” Santa said. “Always glad to see the kids, the kids are wonderful. There’s never anybody who’s not grateful to see Santa and I’m always grateful for when they come.”
Seven-year-old Ledger Goddard-Hussli shared why he came to see Santa.
“Because I really wanted a present,” Goddard-Hussli said.Â
Goddard-Hussli said that he asked Santa for a new iPad for Christmas this year.
Santa said he likes when families come out and see him together.
“I’m thankful for this time of year,” Santa said. “And seeing the families together and doing this as a family and coming out to the museum. It means a lot to the staff and everyone here that puts this together.”
This was the third year for Santa’s visit to the mansion, and he says that he hopes to return next year.
