Santa visits St. Joseph Catholic Academy

By Ashley Luthans
On Saturday morning, a special visitor from the North Pole made an appearance at St. Gianna Early Childhood Center in St. Joseph.
Santa Claus visited the St. Joseph Catholic Academy and encouraged children to share their Christmas wishes.
The children were also invited to color ornaments and enjoy hot chocolate and donuts.
Elsie Boyles was excited to see Santa and shared what she wanted for Christmas.
“I want a toy unicorn pony with wings and a tail and hair and pink fur,” Boyles said.
Audrey Talbot shared why she came to see Santa with her siblings.
“We really wanted to come see him,” Talbot said. “We wanted to tell him what we wanted for Christmas. We come like every year. We really like how we get to take pictures with him too.”
Talbot also shared that she wanted a Christmas Barbie and “fake Christmas nails” for the holiday.
There are still many opportunities for children to meet Santa in St. Joseph this holiday season, including Saturday, Dec. 21 in Coleman Hawkins Park and at the East Hills Mall on various dates.
