Persisterhood plans Dec. 11 meeting

By NewsPress Now

“Finding Rainbows in the Rain,” is the theme for St. Joseph Persisterhood’s 6 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, meeting at Rolling Hills Library’s Upper Story Room at 1904 N. Belt Highway.

Marianne Kunkel, Persisterhood co-founder, prize-winning poet and creative writing professor, will read healing and feminist poems and lead a discussion about navigating the stormy political days ahead.

Those attending are asked to bring a self-care/reflection/hope provider for the giving table to share as well as items for the YWCA Women’s Shelter.

Persisterhood meetings are open to the public and to the media.
