One St. Joseph staple is back for a weekend full of fall celebrations.

PumpkinFest features numerous fall activities, including pumpkin carving, delicious foods, gold mining, live entertainment, vendors and more.

Over 1,100 carved pumpkins will be lit up Friday, Saturday and Sunday night at 8 p.m. at the Pony Express National Museum and Patee Park.

Numerous volunteers, kids and businesses worked together to carve pumpkins for the weekend celebrations.

A children’s parade will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Patee Hall parking lot and ends at Patee Park.
