Election issues on agenda for Democratic women’s club meeting

The Buchanan County Democratic Women’s Club will focus on the November general election at its noon meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 27, at San Jose Steakhouse, 4015 S. Belt.

Michelle Mears will explain the Northwest Missouri League of Women Voters’ “My Voice; My Choice” campaign to restore reproductive freedom in Missouri with the passage of Amendment 3 on the Nov. 5 ballot. Club members also will hear from Pam May, U. S. House District 6 Candidate, and Ron Hook, who is up for reelection as Buchanan County’s Western District Commissioner.
