The Benedictine Living Community partnered with the Missouri Job Center to host a Coffee Connection event on Thursday.

Coffee Connection provides an opportunity to meet other business professionals and community leaders, build new partnerships, make new friends and exchange ideas and events in a comfortable environment.

Attendees talked about a variety of upcoming community events at Benedictine Living Community, including Lunch and Learn for Seniors, Walk with Ease, Life Line Screening, Summer Nights and Mental Health First Aid.

The event is also open to job seekers as well, so that way they can make connections with job resources.

“We have different presenters that come in every month and it’s just a way for them to learn what’s available out of the community,” said Karen Cannon, the sales and marketing manager at the Benedictine Living Community. “So job seekers could come in, just to see what we have available.”

Coffee Connection will be hosted on the last Thursday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Benedictine Living Community. The next meeting date will be on July 25, 2024.
