4th annual Ignite 5K ignites youth potential

Get ready to lace up your running shoes because the Big Brothers Big Sisters 4th annual Ignite 5K is back.

Mark your calendars for an exhilarating event that get your heart pumping while supporting a great cause.

This community wide celebration of mentorship, empowerment and the boundless potential of St. Joseph’s youth directly benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of St. Joseph. All proceeds from the race will directly benefit the nonprofit and their mission to ignite the potential of young people in the community.

The race will take runners through the scenic bike trails of the St. Joseph Parkway system, with an out-an-back course that starts and finishes across from Bode Ice Arena.

Entry into the Ignite 5K includes perks designed to enhance the race experience, including t-shirt, chip timing, a finish line photo as well as participation medals for the first 100 finishers and top runners. Runners can pick up a preregistration packet at River Bluff Brewery starting June 21st or register the morning of the race June 22nd starting at 7:30 a.m..
