5K raising money for Helen Davis playground

The Helen Davis State School PTO will have its 13th annual 5K Run, Walk, N’ Roll with the Huskies from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at Phil Welch Stadium, 2600 Southwest Parkway.
Money raised at the event will help make the school’s playground safer and more accessible for students. That fund-raising process has lasted four years and organizers are close to reaching their goal.
The event will include two food trucks as well as face painting and craft vendors.
