Mad Hatter event set for Jan. 13

Community members are invited to a tea party in Wonderland next weekend.

The Dance Arts Center, 1902 Jules St., offers two seatings for its Mad Hatter Tea Party on Saturday, Jan. 13. Tea parties are offered at 12:30 and 1:30 p.m. that afternoon.

The event features tea and cookie snacks with characters from the show including Alice, the Mad Hatter, the White Rabbit, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cat and others. Attendees will also create an “Alice in Wonderland” themed craft, and get a sneak peek of the show.

Tickets for The Mad Hatter Tea Party are $10 for those 12 and younger and $5 for people 13 and older. Tickets can be purchased online at TheDanceArtsCenter.com. For more information, call 816-233-5442.
