St. Joseph Museums set for annual meeting

The annual membership meeting for the St. Joseph Museums is set for Thursday, Jan. 18.

The event will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m. at the Benton Club, 402 N. Seventh St. Dinner and the meeting follow at 6.

Museum staff will highlight educational programs, events, exhibits and collection projects accomplished in 2023 and the 2024 Strategic Plan also will be presented.

The meeting is open to the public.

In a historic moment for the St. Joseph Museums, Gary Wilkinson, a former city councilman and longtime community volunteer, has been nominated to move into the presidency of the board and is the first African-American to serve in that role.
