A St. Joseph man has been found guilty on four charges related to the molestation of a child.

A Buchanan County jury returned the verdicts Wednesday afternoon in the case involving Timothy Edward Brown, 52. He was convicted of statutory sodomy, enticement of a child, child molestation and sexual misconduct involving a child under 15.

According to court documents, Brown was a volunteer at a local facility where the victim was participating in activities. The girl stated Brown touched her without her consent both over and under her clothes and exposed himself to her during incidents from 2019 to 2023.

Brown will be sentenced by Judge Daniel Kellogg at 2 p.m. on Jan. 7 at the Buchanan County Courthouse. He is being held without bond in the Buchanan County Jail.
