Missouri Court of Appeals convening in St. Joseph

The Missouri Court of Appeals will convene Oct. 16 in the Leah Spratt Hall on Missouri Western State University’s campus.

Judges Mark Pfeiffer, Gary Witt and Thomas Chapman will listen to oral arguments from three cases.

After the oral arguments, the judges will discuss the court system and take general questions from the audience.

The Court of Appeals will offer St. Joseph residents the opportunity to observe a part of the judicial system that is normally unseen as well as familiarize attendees with the court’s role in the judicial system.

The oral arguments are scheduled to begin 9 a.m. Oct. 16 in the Leah Spratt Hall on Missouri Western’s campus.
