Each May, the Missouri Right to Life — Pony Express Chapter helps churches and other organizations honor the mothers within their memberships with carnations. Carnations have long been associated with love, especially the enduring bond between a mother and child. The group orders a large quantity of the flowers, based on pre-orders, in April. Shortly before Mother’s Day, they take delivery of fresh carnations, trim them to enhance their beauty, and apply preservatives to help them last longer.

If you, your church or organization would like to participate in honoring moms with carnations this Mother’s Day, contact John Kreipe (816-262-5335 jakreipe@juno.com) or Glenn Rolf (816-752-2194 gbrolf@iamotelephone.com).
