A jazzed up dressing makes a delicious glaze for this ham.

  • 1/3 cup honey-Dijon salad dressing
  • 1 tsp. grated orange zest
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. onion powder
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 5 lb. semi-boneless smoked ham

Heat oven to 350F. Mix dressing, orange zest, orange juice, sugar, garlic, cinnamon and onion powder. Place ham cut side down in roasting pan. Brush half of dressing mixture over ham. Pour apple juice into pan. Cover pan with foil. Bake 30 minutes. Remove foil; brush ham with the half of remaining dressing mixture. Bake until golden, 30 minutes. Transfer to serving platter. Cover loosely; set aside.

Skim and discard fat from drippings. In small pot over high heat, bring dripping and remaining dressing mixture to boil. Over medium heat, cook until reduced by 1/3, 5 to 7 minutes.
