Occasionally, a story is told that warrants a word of thanks to readers. In the Nov. 14 issue of the Corner Post, an article introduced readers to a group of volunteers who gather twice a year to work on a project that helps strangers throughout the world.

Recently, we stopped by the Rolf Farm near the Missouri-Iowa border to find the workshop crew cutting, drilling, welding, grinding, and assembling materials that will help provide mobility to disabled men, women and children. Among the dedicated crew of 27 were Glenn and Barbara’s granddaughter (Cora), grandson (Ty) and daughter (Jessica).

Glenn mentioned that after the story appeared in the Corner Post, he was contacted by people from around the Corner Post coverage area (and even beyond) who wanted to help. Others wanted to know how a person they know with a mobility disability might get a Personal Energy Transport.

It’s rewarding to know that our stories are making a positive impact through the interest, generosity and efforts of readers like you!
