Sullivan and Jamesson Holder recently competed in their county 4-H’s Achievement Day Event. In addition to projects, each of the young men presented speeches for competition. Jamesson’s speech was about exhibiting livestock and the need for the tradition to continue. He placed first and qualified for state in the novice division; this was his first speech. Sullivan Holder competed in the intermediate level and won first and Best in Show. His speech was about the swine industry. Both boys will compete in Columbia at the state 4-H Public Speaking Competition.
