Sessions at the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center aim to connect retirees with volunteer opportunities.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- Young at Heart Resources and Give 5 are partnering to provide retirees with volunteer opportunities in the area.

A series of sessions will be offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, April 1, 3, 8 and 10, at the Joyce Raye Patterson 50+ Activity Center, 100 S. 10th St. The aim is to connect retired professionals with nonprofit work.

Lunch will be provided.
