Event aims to help fathers and daughters have fun together

A local business is offering a fun opportunity for fathers and daughters to connect.
Ricky Dean’s, 3610 N Village Drive, hosted its second annual daddy-daughter date night on Tuesday, Feb. 4.
Owner of Ricky Dean’s, Joe Lane, shared why they decided to bring the event back.
“Well, we had such a good turnout last year that we thought we’d offer it again, and I think we might even have sold a few more tickets this year,” Lane said. “So, it’s a great time for daddies and daughters to bond and have a great time.”
The evening included dinner, a limo ride, mini golf, a drink from Cup of Joe and goodie bags.
There were four sessions for the event on Feb. 4, with each being an hour long.
There will also be one session on Monday, Feb. 10 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Additionally, on Feb. 10, there will be a “Mom and Me” date night for mothers and sons that will last from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The only session still open for the mother-son date night is 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $45 per parent-child duo, and it is $20 for each additional guest/child.
