A minion came to see St. Joseph children on Saturday in honor of Take Your Child to the Library Day.

In honor of Take Your Child to the Library Day, a special guest visited St. Joseph.

A minion visited the St. Joseph public libraries to meet with area children.

The libraries also provided minion-themed crafts.

5-year-old Amelia Amthor shared why she likes the minions.

"Because they are funny and they like bananas," Amthor said.

Amthor went on to explain what she enjoys about going to the library.

"I get to meet new kids," Amthor said.
