Billie Sollars will celebrate her 90th birthday on Oct. 13, 2024. She was born in Barnard, Missouri, on Friday, Oct. 13, 1934.

The family of Billie Sollars would like to invite you to a celebration in honor of her 90th Birthday on Sunday, Oct. 13, 2024, at Woodson Chapel Christian Church, located at 2525 St. Joseph Ave., St. Joseph.

Billie married Marvin Allen Sollars on Sunday, July 17, 1955. Marvin passed away Saturday, March 8, 2008. She has lived in Barnard, Missouri, Salt Lake City, Utah, Colby, Kansas, and St. Joseph.

Billie’s children are Gregory Scott Sollars, Susan Dianne Sollars, Dana Rene Sollars, Darrin Lee Sollars, Shawn Michael Sollars, Saresa Michelle Sollars.

Billie’s past activies include: Nurses Training, St. Joseph Sisters Hospital; President of the PTA for Lafayette High School; Adoption Specialist at Buchanan County Division of Family Services; Juvenile Justice Coalition at Buchanan County Division of Family Services; Sunday School Teacher for young adults at Woodson Chapel Christian Church; Chairman of North Town Community Center; Moderator of the Board of Directors Woodson Chapel Christian Church; Foster Parent for countless children ensuring they had a save and happy home; and she taught new families how to be foster parents.

Currently Billie keeps busy with Sesora Club, Elder at Woodson Chapel Christian Church, President of the Resident Council at Carriage Square, and she was elected as the Resident Valentine’s Queen.
