Happy 60th Anniversary Gene and Joyce Bollman!

Gene and Joyce (Harr) Bollman will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Aug. 21, 2024. They were married in 1964 at the Cosby Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church, in Cosby, Missouri, by the Rev. Lester Sander and the Rev. Lowell Wendland. The couple has faithfully served in many capacities at this church which is now the Cosby Zion United Methodist Church.

The couple occasionally drive their honeymoon car, Gene’s first car, a 1962 Chevrolet Impala.

Gene retired in 2001 after spending 30 years with Wire Rope Corporation of America.

Joyce began her career teaching business classes at Fulton High School, Fulton, Missouri, and she retired from her last teaching assignment in 2005 with the Special Education Department of the Savannah RIII School District, in Savannah, Missouri.

The couple are the parents of two daughters, Dianne and Deborah (1972-2015) Bollman.
