Eldon and Garnet (Farquhar) Mead are celebrating their 60th anniversary on June 13, 2024. They were married on that date in 1964 in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

They have three children, Letha Mead, Lanell Kondratenko (Yev), Calvin Mead (Nadine); eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Eldon worked for St. Joseph Light & Power Co.
