Wilfred and Joanna Jung celebrate 60 years!

Wilfred and Joanna (Hamera) Jung will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Sept. 28, 2023. They were married at the Saint Stanislaus Catholic Church, in St. Joseph, on Sept. 28, 1963.

They have three children, Anne Jung-Mathews, Campton, New Hampshire, Angela Chapman, Kansas City, Missouri, and Aaron Jung, Platte City, Missouri. They also have six grandchildren, Elena Davis (Taylor), Samuel Chapman (Grace), Lewis Chapman, Nicholas Kulig, Michael Kulig, and Anne Chapman. There are four great-grandchildren, Winona Davis, Evan Davis, Theodore Chapman, and Francesca Chapman.

Wilfred and Joanna have both worked at various locations in St. Joseph. Wilfred retired from the St. Joseph School District and Joanna retired from Green Hills. They are current involved with the Saint Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
