Nina George is turning 90!

Nina George, a life-long resident of Oregon, Missouri, turns 90 years young on Friday, Sept.15, 2023.

Nina worked at South Holt R-1 for 46 years, and was listed as a ‘20 Who Count’ in the St. Joseph News-Press. Nina was also named as a ‘Missouri Outstanding Older Worker’ for her four decades in education.

She was married to Otis George, also of Oregon, for 62 years, until his death in 2015.

Nina has volunteered for various organizations such as the Oregon Care Center, Help the Homeless of Northwest Missouri, Holt County Cancer Fund, CAC, and the Oregon Public Library.
