US IOWA GOVERNOR-OPEN RECORDS
DESCRIPTION: DES MOINES, Iowa — Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds filed a lawsuit Friday against the state’s largest newspaper in an effort to keep her communication with top aides private and not subject to Iowa’s open records law. Reynolds says efforts by the Des Moines Register to obtain that communication forced the need to ensure it remains secret, just as the Legislature and Iowa Supreme Court justices can keep their communication private.
