Josh Hawley,
Republican incumbent
A native of Lexington, Missouri, who graduated in 2002 from Stanford and Yale universities before becoming Missouri’s Attorney General in 2017, Hawley is seeking his second term in office after defeating incumbent Democrat Claire McCaskill in 2018 for the Senate seat. Hawley’s top goals include closing the border, getting jobs back in the country, protecting law enforcement officers and getting the crime rate down.

Lucas Kunce, Democrat
A Jefferson City native who graduated with a law degree from the University of Missouri, Kunce served in the Marine Corps for 13 years. As a seventh-generation Missourian, Kunce said his top goal is to give residents in the state more opportunities and bring more federal dollars to the state. Kunce believes there are not enough veterans in Congress and wants that to change.

Jared Young, Better Party (Independent)
Better Party candidate and father of six Jared Young said he’s in the Senate race because he’s tired of the way national politics have gone. The BYU and Harvard graduate wants to focus on areas where there is broad agreement between voters but no progress is made “because of partisan warfare and gamesmanship.”

Nathan Kline, Green Party
A native of Kansas City, Kline brought his skill set to the public sector in 2013 to work for the Kansas City Planning and Development Department of the City of Kansas City, Missouri after 25 years of hospitality management experience. According to his campaign website, Kline’s goals include raising taxes on corporations and the obscenely wealthy to fully fund state services and reversing years of growing economic inequality by establishing a doable living wage.
