Andrea Denning, Democrat

Denning is a small business owner and owns Denning Stained Glass in Platte City. She credits her parents, who also ran for public office, with inspiring her own run. Denning has also been involved in the Platte City Chamber of Commerce, the Platte City Friends of the Arts and sits on the board of the Stained Glass Association of America.



Sean Pouche, Republican

Pouche has served two terms in the House of Representatives, following in the footsteps of his father, who spent six years representing District 30. He works at his family business, Platte Rental and Supply, and currently serves as a commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve. Pouche said a focus for him is controlling the cost of insulin and epinephrine.
