Mike Kehoe, Republican
The current lieutenant governor, Kehoe has past experience in Jefferson City as a state senator and senate majority leader. Kehoe said his administration has three key priorities: crime, economic stability and education.
Kehoe hopes to highlight the need for further economic development that he said will benefit small businesses. Kehoe supports Senate Bill 727, recently signed into law by Parson, that provided pay raises for teachers, and also expanded school choice for parents.

Crystal Quade, Democrat
A former Missouri State graduate, Quade has served as Democratic leader of the Missouri House of Representatives since 2019. Quade said increased funding for education and strengthening support for small businesses in Missouri are key priorities of her campaign, adding that a better-trained workforce for businesses in Missouri is necessary.
She also supports Amendment 3, which seeks to establish a right to reproductive healthcare including abortion and contraceptives.

Bill Slantz, Libertarian
Slantz describes himself as a family man, businessman, and is the former state chair of the Libertarian Party of Missouri. According to his campaign website, Slantz will look to enact policies that remove barriers to economic participation, bring economic growth, and spread it more inclusively.

Paul Lehmann, Green Party
Paul Lehmann earned a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University and a graduate degree from the Eden Theological Seminary. His career experience includes working as a minister. Lehmann ran for Missouri Secretary of State in 2020.
