Everett Goddard

Jr., Republican

Goddard, a former St. Joseph resident who now lives in DeKalb, owns Rusty Hook Bait and Tackle and works as a subcontractor for the Navy with Intercon. He previously worked at the western district barn and said reducing county spending and addressing road issues are among his goals if elected.



Ron Hook, Democrat

Hook, of St. Joseph, has served as western district commissioner since 2009. He said he aims to identify and solve problems by listening to residents and said he aims to address concerns quickly. Most recently, Hook has headed efforts to dredge Lake Contrary with an eye toward revitalizing the area.
