Jenna Wilson

Jenna Wilson joined the News-Press Now news team in July 2022 as a multimedia journalist after graduating from the University of Kansas with a degree in broadcast journalism, transitioning into a role as a Friday evening anchor, in addition to reporting. 

Jenna has always been an inquisitive person, wanting to know the who, what, where and why, but also the how and what it made you feel like. So, when stumbling into her first news opportunity in the city of St. Joseph, immediately things just clicked. 

While you’ll see Jenna covering an array of stories at News-Press, Public safety will be her specialty. She has investigated numerous public safety issues affecting the city of St. Joseph including a rat infestation at local apartments, unsolved homicides and high-crime neighborhoods. 

Outside of work, Jenna loves spending time with family and friends and all things Texas (yes, that includes the Dallas Cowboys) which she has always considered her happy place and more importantly, home.
