Cameron Montemayor
Cameron has been with News-Press NOW since 2018, first as a weekend breaking news reporter while attending school at Northwest Missouri State University. A native of St. Joseph, Cameron graduated from Central High School in 2014 and Northwest Missouri State in 2019 with a degree in Sports Media.
Cameron has experience reporting on a wide range of subjects, but now primarily focuses on city government and community development. He spent three years overseeing the News-Press newspaper design and production team before returning to multimedia journalism in 2023.
An avid musician, sports fan and photographer, Cameron enjoys playing guitar and exploring trails and conservation areas in his free time.
