FAUCETT, Mo. – Truman Campbell 76, of Faucett, Missouri, peacefully passed away Friday, March 22, 2024, at his home. He was born June 6, 1947, in St. Joseph, to John Thomas (Teeter) Campbell and Mildred Jane Duncan. He was a member of the Faucett Christian Church.

Truman graduated from Faucett High School, and received his BS in Agriculture from Missouri Western State University. He was a lifetime farmer on the family’s Century Farm. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War Era, and was a member of the Faucett Betterment Club, Treasurer of the Faucett Cemetery, and President of the Yates Cemetery. On March 16, 1968 he married Louise D. Cable.

Family and friends remember him as a kind and hard-working father, who enjoyed playing cards and watching his grandchildren play baseball. He was an avid Cardinal’s baseball fan who liked old western movies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and son-in-law, Mark Saunders.

Survivors include: his loving wife, Louise; daughter, Stacie Saunders, of Golden Valley, Minnesota; son, Joshua (Susan) Campbell, of Faucett; grandchildren, Jeffery and Julianna Campbell, and Calvin and Porter Saunders.

Truman will be cremated under the direction of Rupp Funeral Home.

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Faucett Cemetery, c/o Rupp Funeral Home or the donors choice.
