Detour coming for traffic at Lake and Cherokee

Lake Avenue will be closed at its intersection with Cherokee Avenue for construction beginning Tuesday, March 12.

Beginning at the intersection of King Hill to Illinois, all southbound traffic for Lake Avenue will be rerouted on King Hill and detoured onto Illinois west to Lake. All northbound Lake traffic will detour eastward onto Illinois to King Hill.

Cherokee Avenue will be closed at the intersection of Lake and Gordon.
