Daly, Kenneth V. 1943-2024 Gladstone, Mo.

GLADSTONE, Mo. – Kenneth V. Daly, 80, Gladstone, Missouri, formerly of St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at Notorre, in Liberty, Missouri.

He was born Nov. 6, 1943, in St. Joseph, to Thomas Vincent and Rose Marie (Conner) Daly. Kenneth grew up in St. Joseph, where he graduated from Christian Brothers High School and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church

Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Navy, then was a firefighter for the St. Joseph Fire Department for 30 years. He was not afraid of heights, which really served him well as a firefighter.

He married Frances Beehler, and from this union two children were born, Regina and Daniel. Kenneth and Frances later divorced.

Kenneth enjoyed big family gatherings for holidays, weddings and special occasions. He loved to collect and assemble model airplanes and cars throughout his whole life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Kathleen Marie Daly, Thomas P. Daly, and John Francis Daly; and brother-in-law, Garland D. Houston.

Survivors include his children, Regina Sadoris and Daniel Daly (Latisha); five grandchildren; siblings, Michael E. Daly (Patty), Marie L. Houston, Janet A. Daly, Dennis J. Daly (Jerri Ann), and Margaret R. Turner (Frank); cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
