Tracking a scattered severe threat tomorrow: mostly dry tonight

So far today, it has been cloudy, mild and breezy. These conditions will continue for the rest of your Sunday evening. Winds from the southeast will sustain between 10 and 15 mph, helping temperatures rise into the mid-60s and stay there for the overnight low. There is a chance of a few stray showers late tonight, but we will stay mostly dry.
Tomorrow, there is still a threat of scattered severe thunderstorms in northwest Missouri. The timing of these storms is trending later in the evening. While there is still a chance that storms could develop early in the afternoon, they are trending to begin in the evening and continue into the early hours of Tuesday morning. As a cold front approaches late Monday, storms will become more likely and continue to pose a threat for damaging winds, large hail and a few tornadoes. Afternoon highs are expected to be in the low 80s, and winds will be gusty from the south, sustaining between 15 and 25 mph and gusting up to 37 mph.
Tuesday will be mostly dry, and we will cool down to the upper 60s. Chances increase later Tuesday evening for showers and thunderstorms. Winds will be breezy from the northwest between 5 and 10 mph.
By midweek, there will still be multiple chances for rain, and temperatures will be near average.
