Special Needs: If you have special needs addressed by the Americans with Disabilities Act, please notify the Purchasing Agent at (816) 271-5330 at lease five (5) working days prior to the bid due date. Information regarding the bid can be found at the office of the Purchasing Agent located at 1100 Frederick Avenue, St. Joseph, MO or by calling 816-271-5330. Information can also be found on the City’s website at www.stjosephmo.gov. The City hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation. In addition, interested bidders will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, religion, creed, sex, age, ancestry, or national origin in consideration for an award. The City has a DBE Goal of .1% and certified firms are encouraged to bid. Information relative to this procurement may be obtained from the Purchasing Department office at the above referenced address. Complete instructions to bidders and proposal blanks may be obtained at the same address and location and are a part of the preceding document. Proposals must include all forms provided that require signature from the information packet, on the original forms themselves. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
