Parties on the Parkway returns for summer series

The 2025 Parties on the Parkway concert series will kick off 5 p.m. May 8 at Southwest Parkway and King Hill Drive.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- A St. Joseph summer tradition, Parties on the Parkway, will soon return to the stage.

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce is once again hosting a series of concerts free to the public that will travel throughout the famous Parkway system. Thousands of residents come out each year to enjoy the live music, food and drink vendors and soak in the sunshine.

The performances go from 5 to 8 p.m. every second Thursday of the month. The first concert on Thursday, May 8 will feature the country group, The Dirty Bourbon Band, at Southwest Parkway and King Hill Drive.

The season lineup will also include the pop variety group, Jason & Brandon Duo, the 80's focused group, Fast Times, the return of the soul calypso and reggae band, Soca Jukebox, and the Saint Joseph Symphony which will perform jazz, pops and light classical music.
