Fewins, Irma L. 1930-2025 Polo, Mo.

POLO, Mo. – Irma Lee (Wilson) Fewins, 94, passed away April 14, 2025. She was born Nov. 5, 1930, to Emmett and Anna (McDaniel) Wilson, in Stewartsville, Missouri.

Irma married Benny Fewins Dec. 24, 1947, in Cameron, Missouri. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. Irma was a member of Jamesport American Legion Post 607 Woman’s Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Benny; two sons, Dennis and Robert Lyle; three brothers, Robert, Jack and William “Bill” Wilson; three sisters, Doris Potts, Fern Graham, Mary Lou Smith.

Irma is survived by son, David Fewins, Sun City West, Arizona; daughter, Linda (Paul) Coffaro, Polo, Missouri; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren; sister, Pat (Steve) Gates, Cameron; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Fewins, Jamesport, Missouri.

Services will be 2 p.m. Friday, April, 18, 2025, at Poland-Thompson Chapel, Cameron. Visitation, 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Cameron. For online condolences, visit www.polandthompson.com
