Tracking scattered t-storm chances

A warm, breezy, and dry Wednesday evening will give way to a 40% to 60% chance of scattered thunderstorms late tonight through early Thursday morning. Some storms may produce small hail, heavy rain, and gusty winds. Temperatures overnight will fall into the low 60s with southerly winds at 15 to 20 mph. Mainly dry and breezy conditions will continue Thursday, with afternoon highs warming into the low to mid 80s and southerly winds at 15 to 25 mph. Isolated strong storms will be possible Thursday evening as a low pressure system passes north of the region. While chances for thunderstorm activity remain low at 20% to 30%, any storms that develop may produce damaging winds and sizable hail. Lingering clouds, slight rain chances , and cooler air are forecast to finish out the work week and start the weekend. Widespread showers and below average temperatures are likely by Easter Sunday as a slow moving system progresses through the region.
