Good morning folks! We will begin our streak of potentially rainy days today, with rain chances starting off down south this afternoon. Most of us in the St. Joseph vicinity will stay dry, but if you are traveling south into Kansas City, or need to make a trip on I-70, you may run into a shower or two.

Overnight will be a different story. A line of storms is expected to pass through our area, with some potential for strong to severe storms. Wind gusts and large hail are forecasted to be the greatest threats overnight.

Storm chances will persist through Sunday, with both days this weekend looking soggy. Flood threats will be a factor in this weekend's forecast, so my best advice to you is to plan ahead and start changing any outdoor plans to indoor plans. The kiddos may have a muddy Easter egg hunt this year. Good luck and try to stay dry!
