Hatfield, Patricia 1958-2025 St. Joseph, Mo.

Patricia “Patty” Hatfield, 66, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at her home. She was born Aug. 14, 1958, in St. Joseph, daughter of Karen and Edward Amos.

Patty attended Benton High School. She worked as a Med-Tech at several area nursing facilities. Patty enjoyed working with her flowers, being outdoors and spending time with her great-grandson, Cyrus.

She was preceded in death by father, Edward Amos; son, Gary Hatfield Jr.; brother, Melvin Amos; and nephew, Timothy Schroeder.

Survivors include mother, Karen Amos; son, Shawn Hatfield; brothers, Osh (Pam) Amos and Joe Amos; sister, Gladys (Jon) Artzer; grandchildren, Gary and Remi; and great-grandchildren, Joslyn and Cyrus.

Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 11, 2025, at the Rupp Funeral Home, Pastor Rob Diamond officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family greatly appreciates her dear friend, Nancy, and the help she provided with caring for Patty.
