Tyler Pettigrew, an entertainer, and Isaiah Dunn, a producer, talk about the action-packed bull riding event.

St. Joseph, Mo. (News-Press NOW) — The Amped Up Pro Bull Riding Tour returns to Civic Arena in Downtown St. Joseph this weekend.

The finals action takes place on Friday, April 4, and Saturday, April 5, with doors opening at 6 p.m. on both nights.

Tickets are available for purchase at the box office at Civic Arena, St. Joe Boot or by calling (816) 271-4717. Guests can save $3 per ticket by purchasing tickets early.

Two crew members with Amped Up Productions, Tyler Pettigrew, an entertainer, and Isaiah Dunn, a producer, shared more about what guests can expect.

"It's a lot of thrills and spills and lights and smoke and pyro technics," Pettigrew said. "It's a 2,000/1,500 pound animal versus a 150 pound cowboy. It's always exciting."

Trevon Dawson, a contestant from season 27 of NBC's The Voice, is set to sing the National Anthem on Friday night. He will also be at the Pop's Events Booth for a meet and greet, according to the Amped Up Productions' Facebook.
