KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Marilee Jane Creason (nee Steeb), 60, passed away on Feb. 18, 2024, at her home in Kansas City, Missouri.

Marilee was born Jan. 2, 1964, to Judge Merrill Steeb and Glenrose (Summers) Steeb, both of whom preceded Marilee. She was also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Kenny Bledsoe.

Marilee was a graduate of Central High School, Missouri Western and UMKC (MBA).

She is survived by Curt Creason, her husband of 34 years; her daughter, Jerra Creason, of Tucson, Arizona; her sister, Sally Ann Bledsoe, of Savannah, Missouri; brother-in-law, Chris Creason; and mother-in-law, Mary Creason, of Kansas City, Missouri; and six beloved nieces and nephews.

She will be remembered by family and friends for being a rock when we needed support and someone who would not countenance nonsense where she found it. She will be missed by all who knew her. Private Graveside Services and Inurnment, Memorial Park Cemetery.
