Mark “The Barber” Fouraker, 67, St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024.

He was born April 20, 1956, in St. Joseph, to Ralph and Wilma (Ellis) Fouraker.

Known as “The Barber,” Mark was a barber/stylist his whole life. He was an avid pocket billiards player, who also enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Whatever Mark did, he went in wholeheartedly – all or nothing – whether it was making his own gourmet coffee or being a foodie with a special fondness for Asian cuisine. Let’s not forget his in-depth study of specialty herbs and spices.

Mark was a good-hearted man with a good sense of humor.

He was a Christian and got baptized in the River Jordan by Pastor BZ.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include numerous friends, including his four-legged friend, Norman.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 1 p.m. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Friends of the Animal Shelter.
